Al Shoula areas are still without sewage systems and treatment plants. Many roads need maintenance. Al Shoula areas are agricultural areas. The municipality is famous for its guava and olive trees, as well as its tourist attractions.
Al Shoula municipality consists of two administrative areas: Summer (the center) and Saham.
