Al Kfarat areas are still without sewage systems and treatment plants. Many roads need maintenance. Al Kfarat is an agricultural area famous for its olive trees, and pomegranates. It also has Byzantine ruins. Technical Expertise: Urban planning unit.
Al Kfarat Municipality consists of six administrative areas: Hubras (the center), Hareema, and Al Yarmouk). Al Yarmouk Municipality is located in the far north-west of Jordan. It is part of Irbid governorate and is located in the northern part of it (14 km away from Irbid City). Al Kfarat covers an area of 81 Km² and has been inhabited for over 2,000 years.
