The processing of personal data on this website takes place on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
When processing this website and electronic data, we hire external service providers. These service providers are required to comply with data protection regulations to the same extent as we do and they guarantee that the data of the online offer is handled reliably and securely. This website is stored on a server of the company Hetzner Online AG in Gunzenhausen. The storage of the data is done separately from other applications.
We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data that we manage against manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continually being improved in line with technological developments.
According to Article 4 (1) of the GDPR, personal data are: "Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as 'data subject'); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person."
We may only collect and process personal data in accordance with Article 6 GDPR if your consent has been given, if the collection and processing is necessary in order to fulfil the contract or precontractual measures, if there is a legal obligation to do so or if it is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and your interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms do not prevail.
We will, in each case, only process the personal data collected for the purpose of operating and improving this website and in order to provide the services that you request. There is no transfer of personal data to third parties and they are not used for other purposes. We will delete or block your personal data as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies, provided that the deletion does not conflict with a statutory retention period.
Basically, you can visit this website without revealing your identity. In order to protect our data processing systems against attacks, however, we log your access for a limited period of time. These server access data serve exclusively to ensure technical operation and are not used for any other purpose. We only take a look at these log files if there are any technical problems and the data stored there can help us to solve them.
Access data are stored only in an anonymous form on the website. This may, for example, take the form of the name of your Internet service provider, the website from which you accessed our offer, or the subpages that you access on our website. No conclusion can be drawn from this information regarding your identity and they are only stored for the purpose of statistically evaluating the access figures and to improve the website.

- the browser type and the version used
- the user's operating system
- the user's Internet service provider
- the user's IP address
- the date and time of your visit

In order for this to happen, your IP address must be stored for the duration of the session. The data will be stored by us until the end of each session and then automatically deleted. Since these data are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website, you as a user have no chance to object to the processing.
This website uses so-called session cookies. Session cookies are small pieces of information that a provider stores on the visitor's computer. A randomly generated unique identification number is stored in a session cookie, a so-called session ID. In addition, a cookie contains information about its origin and the storage period. These cookies cannot save any other data. This website is largely usable without the acceptance of cookies. Solely the use of protected areas that require authentication is only possible with cookies.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer and which enable the website to analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of the website is, as a rule, transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States.
On this website, your IP address will be anonymised for privacy reasons, i.e. your IP address will be truncated in advance by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and truncated there. We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" in order to ensure the anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
On behalf of the website provider, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website activity and Internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address transmitted within the framework of Google Analytics from your browser with any other data held by Google.
When you send us an e-mail, e.g. via the contact form on the website, your first and last name, in some cases your federal state, and your e-mail address will be transmitted as personal data. These data are used exclusively for the purpose of corresponding with you; processing for other purposes will not take place. Your e-mail address will never be transmitted to third parties. The legal basis for the data collection is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) a GDPR. In order to process the data, your consent is obtained during the dispatch process and reference is made to this Data Protection Statement. You can revoke your declaration of consent by e-mail at any time without stating your reasons for doing so. This will not affect the legality of the processing carried out until revocation.
Newsletter & e-mail subscriptions
On our website, you can subscribe to newsletters or information that is sent by e-mail. The data provided in the newsletter registration (first and last name as well as your e-mail address) will initially be used for sending a confirmation e-mail (double opt-in procedure) and, if you do not agree to any further use, will only be used for sending the newsletter. In order to process the data, your consent is obtained during the registration process and reference is made to this Data Protection Statement.
In order to send out our newsletter, we use the e-mail dispatch system CleverReach, operated by CleverReach GmbH (&) Co. KG, Rastede, Germany. In order to do so, your data is stored by CleverReach. CleverReach offers evaluation options regarding how the newsletters are opened and used. In order that you may receive the newsletter, your data will not be passed on to third parties, and CleverReach does not acquire any right to transfer your data.
The legal basis for the data collection is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) a GDPR. You can revoke your subscription or your declaration of consent at any time using the opt-out option provided in the newsletter or by sending e-mail without stating reasons for doing so. This will not affect the legality of the processing carried out until revocation.
Registration for events
Data that is transmitted to us when registering online for events will only be used by us to process your registration and organise the event. Any use of your data for other purposes unconnected with the registration, and in particular transmission to third parties, does not take place without your express consent. The data collected for events vary and correspond to the information requested in the respective registration form. Your first and last name as well as your e-mail address are required at the very least in order that we may send you a confirmation e-mail (double-opt-in procedure). Your data will be routinely deleted after use, unless a legal retention period precludes this. The legal basis for the data collection is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) a GDPR. You can revoke your declaration of consent by e-mail at any time without stating your reasons for doing so. This will not affect the legality of the processing carried out until revocation.
Use of Facebook, Twitter or Google plugins
Our pages allow you to use the "tweet button" from Twitter, the "recommend button" from Facebook or the "+1" button from Google. These buttons are not active by default. If you activate the buttons by clicking on them, the respective plugin will establish a direct connection between your browser and the server of Facebook, Twitter or Google. This will inform Facebook, Twitter or Google of your visit to our site together with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook "Recommend button" or the "Tweet button" or the "+1" button while logged in to your Facebook, Twitter or Google account, you can link the contents of our pages to your respective profiles. Facebook, Twitter or Google will then be able to assign this visit to our pages to your user account. We wish to point out that we, as providers of the website, have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of its use by Facebook, Twitter or Google.
If you do not want Facebook, Twitter, or Google to associate your visit to our pages with your user accounts, please log out of your respective user accounts.
Embedding of YouTube videos
This website has videos from YouTube embedded in it. YouTube is an Internet video portal that allows video providers to upload video clips and allows other users to view, rate and comment on them for free. YouTube allows all kinds of videos to be uploaded, which means that entire film and television broadcasts as well as music videos, trailers or user-made videos can be accessed via the Internet portal.
The company that operates YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
When you load a page on the website we operate, the integrated YouTube player of the YouTube component (YouTube video) automatically establishes a connection to YouTube in order to ensure the technical transmission of the video or audio file. More information about YouTube can be found at https://www.youtube.com/intl/en/yt/about/. As part of this technical process, YouTube and Google obtain knowledge regarding the specific subpage of our site visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognises which specific subpage of our website the data subject is visiting when a subpage containing a YouTube video is accessed. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and associated with the data subject's YouTube account.
YouTube and Google will always receive information that the data subject has visited our website via the YouTube component if the data subject is logged into YouTube at the time our website was accessed; this happens regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, the data subject can prevent this transmission by logging out of his/her YouTube account before accessing our website.
YouTube's data protection provisions provide information on the collection and processing of personal data by YouTube and Google and are available at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/.
Embedding of Google Maps
On our website, we use map views based on the Google Maps map service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Pkwy, Mountain View, California 94043, USA ("Google").
When accessing such a map on our website, a map provided the map service Google Maps is uploaded. Uploading this map establishes a connection to Google's servers. This also allows Google to collect personal data from you. The uploading of the map is technically similar to clicking on a link to an external website, with the difference being that the content is not displayed in a new window or tab of your Internet browser, but visually embedded in our website. The data exchange initiated by uploading and using the map takes place exclusively between your Internet browser and Google's servers. If you use the map provided by Google Maps, you thus use a functionality provided by Google on its own responsibility and which is visually embedded in the page of our website.
In particular, when uploading and using the map, Google (similar to accessing an external website via a link) may receive your IP address and the address (URL) of the website on which the map is embedded. Moreover, Google may receive information from any Google cookies stored on your Internet browser. By uploading the map, Google can, therefore, at least obtain the information that our website was assessed by the IP address assigned to you when the page was accessed. If you are a registered Google user, Google may, as a rule, also associate the data received with your user account. Please note that we have no knowledge of the data collected by Google as part of the Google Maps map service. We also have no knowledge of the specific purpose of the processing of the data collected by Google or other details of the data processing. In particular, we do not know whether Google processes the data collected solely to provide the functionality of the map service, or for any other purposes (such as the creation of user profiles or the personalisation of advertising).
Embedding of reCAPTCHA
We use Google's reCaptcha service to determine whether a human being or computer is typing in our contact or newsletter form. Google uses the following data to check whether you are a human being or a computer: the IP address of the device used, which of our web pages you are visiting and on which the Captcha is embedded, the date and duration of the visit, the ID data of the browser and OS type used, the Google account, whether you are logged in to Google, mouse movements on the reCaptcha surfaces, as well as tasks that require you to identify images. The legal basis for the data processing described is Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. There is a legitimate interest on our part with regard to this data processing to ensure the security of our website and to protect us from automated input (attacks).
Your rights as a data subject
As the data subject, you have the right to information about the processing of your personaldata, the correction, restriction of processing and deletion of your data and the right to data portability according to Article 15 et seq. of the GDPR. Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of data for the purpose of direct mail or if your legitimate interest in not disclosing your data due to a personal situation at any time outweighs the interests of processing. In order to do so, please send us an e-mail to this address:
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a regulatory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the General Data Protection Regulation. You can find your competent supervisory authority here:
